Posted on 04/26/2017
Jason McCutcheon with award and familyJason McCutcheon, Construction Teacher at Bisbee High School, was recently awarded as an Innovative Career and Technical Education Program at the 2017 ACTE Region V Conference in Rapid City, SD. This award is only given to one program in each state, so Mr. McCutcheon should be commended for his hard work and dedication to his program and students. In just a few short years, Mr. McCutcheon has built an outstanding Construction Program at Bisbee High School. His students , know...n locally as "Construction Angels Volunteers," are active in the community--building shelves at the library, new benches on campus, covered bus stops, widening doors for people with disabilities, installing new flooring and a lot more. Mr. McCutcheon has taught his students much more than construction. He's taught them to be ambassadors of professionalism who honor their community and school. Congratulations, Mr. McCutcheon, and thank you for your outstanding work and dedication to students!
